Terms of use

Last updated 12 August 2026.

Scope

These terms govern your use of this website. They are not the terms under which the ForensicsGuard platform is licensed or supplied — those are agreed separately and in writing with each customer, and they take precedence over anything on this site.

About the content on this site

This website describes the ForensicsGuard platform for the purpose of commercial evaluation. It is provided for information. It is not an offer, a warranty, a specification, or a contractual commitment, and it does not form part of any agreement between us.

We aim to describe the platform accurately, including its limitations. Capabilities develop over time, and the description here reflects our position at the date shown. If a specific capability is material to a decision you are making, ask us to confirm it in writing rather than relying on this site.

No professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, forensic, investigative or security advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for qualified professional judgement. Forensic conclusions require qualified interpretation of the underlying evidence.

No guarantee of detection

No forensic or security platform can guarantee that it will detect any particular capability, tool or activity. We make no such guarantee, and any statement on this site about what the platform observes should be read alongside the limitations we publish on the Guardian, Mobile Sensor and Security & Trust pages.

Lawful and authorised use

The platform is supplied for lawful, authorised forensic analysis. Responsibility for establishing lawful authority for any observation, examination or investigation rests with the organisation conducting it. Our position on this is set out in our responsible-use policy, which forms part of these terms.

Intellectual property

The content of this site, including text, design, diagrams and the ForensicsGuard name and marks, belongs to ForensicsGuard or its licensors. You may read, quote and link to it for the purpose of evaluating the platform or reporting on it. You may not reproduce it wholesale, or present it as your own, without our permission.

The typefaces used on this site are Barlow and Barlow Semi Condensed, used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Third-party names

Where we name other products or organisations, we do so descriptively — to explain how our platform relates to tools an investigator may already use, or to describe threats the platform is designed to help investigate. Such names remain the property of their respective owners, and their use does not imply any partnership, endorsement, affiliation, certification or interoperability agreement.

External links

Where this site links to another site, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content or its handling of your data.

Availability

We do not guarantee that this website will be available uninterrupted or free of error. We may change or withdraw content at any time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on the content of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Liability in respect of the platform itself is governed by the written agreement under which it is supplied, not by this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of business in Doha, Qatar. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
